Each stage consists of timed events, called "specials", and circuits where drivers must keep up an average speed. Specials take place on three types of terrain:
• lines: running along lines drawn into pathways
• banners: takes place on a course mark out using banners
• the 'Extremes' course, a combination of different and highly technical challenges.
In this event, Endurance riders cover different terrains: sand, mud, roadway, stones. The Endurance competitors therefore need a tyre that can adapt perfectly to different driving conditions. That's why Michelin has developed a versatile range meeting their needs and crowned with 28 World Champion titles since 2000.
